Joshua Sudock is an award-winning still photographer and author based in Orange County, California who specializes in visual storytelling with a photojournalist’s sensibility for commercial and editorial clients.
He has been called on to photograph U.S. Presidents, the British Royal Family, A-List celebrities, and sport luminaries; human interest stories and business features; symphonies, rock concerts, hip hop shows, and theatrical stage productions; courtroom proceedings, police action, fires, emergency medical services, surgery, and government meetings; large press conferences, international media junkets, red carpet events, conventions, parties, and fundraising galas; billboard campaigns and national advertising initiatives; environmental portraits for professions from janitor to CEO; and sports (from pee-wee to the pros).
After spending more than a decade working as a general assignment staff photographer and breaking news reporter for The Orange County Register newspaper, Mr. Sudock was retained by The Walt Disney Company to become only the sixth Chief Photographer for Disneyland Resort since it’s 1954 groundbreaking.
In 2020, with California theme parks shuttered due to the pandemic, he pivoted to blend his passion for visual storytelling with years of diverse experience in news and corporate environments to help new clients realize their unique visions and thrive.
